Episode 06 (year 4): What the Expression “Quit While You’re Ahead,” Means to a NVLDer

Today we’re going to talk about one of the expressions that I feel is meaningless to me as a neurodivergent. That expression is “quit while you’re ahead.” Have you ever heard this expression before and thought I’m not ahead I’m behind? Or realized that you better quit before you get into trouble or in bad graces with the person you’re conversing with because you would prefer to stay on their good side?
