Episode 6 (year 5): How Many Educators and Professionals Are Neurodiverse or Know Someone Who Is?

How many doctors, teachers, academic counselors and tutors are neurodiverse? Or know someone who is neurodiverse?

The topic discusses how many professionals, like doctors, teachers, and tutors, are neurodiverse or know someone who is. It suggests that if more doctors understood neurodiversity, they could better address challenges related to chronic pain, medication effectiveness, weight management, and self-care. The text highlights that neurodiverse individuals face different challenges than neurotypicals, and professionals who recognize this could offer more effective and compassionate care.

Do you have find yourself skipping lines when trying to read a book? Or have challenges with not feeling tired after reading a lot at once? Do you find that sometimes it’s hard to understand what you just read? I have all of these problems still even though I don’t read academically anymore for school since I graduated six years ago.

Episode 30 (year 4): How Did the Nazis Target Neurodivergent Individuals During the Holocaust?

Have you ever wondered if historical events targeted neurodivergent individuals without many knowing? It would be both interesting and appalling to discover if any neurodivergent individuals were among those exterminated in the Holocaust. I apologize if this topic touches on personal losses related to the Holocaust, a truly horrific period in human history.

Episode 29 (year 4): Challenges of NLD, Chronic Migraines, and PTSD

Do you struggle with more than one incurable condition or learning difference?

Do you struggle with more than one incurable condition or learning difference? Or do you have challenges living with more than one condition or learning difference that are invisible? Do you have issues with there not being a cure for these conditions, diseases, learning differences etc. now or possibly ever?

I would say yes to all of these questions and that has been true for the past 16 years for my PTSD, the past 10 years for NLD and chronic migraines.

James Lange is a CPA/Attorney and the author of ten best-selling financial books that help IRA and retirement plan owners get the most of what they’ve got. The Wall Street Journal has endorsed Jim’s tax and estate planning strategies 36 times. Listeners should go to https://DisabledChildPlanning.com/Podcast to download a free digital copy of book. At that page, interested listeners can also leave their name/email address if they want to be notified about our June 18, 19, & 20 virtual summit.

Jim’s daughter, Erica, has a disability. Jim’s expertise with Roth IRA conversions and the impact of the SECURE Act on IRAs, disability planning, and legacy planning was critical in developing a long-term plan to secure his daughter’s financial future and improve his family’s quality of life.

He was quick to realize that his solution, with modifications tuned to each family’s circumstances, could benefit all parents of a child with a disability. Using his family’s journey as the base, Jim authored a new book, Retire Secure for Parents of a Child with a Disability, with two experts in the disability field. Jim and his co-authors believe the book is the best comprehensive financial resource for parents of a child with a disability.

Jim and his staff are also hosting a 3-day virtual summit titled Financial and Life Planning Summit…for Parents of a Child with a Disability from June 18 to June 20. Tatyana McFadden, one of the top paralympic athletes in the world will be our celebrity speaker. The three co-authors and a host of other experts will be offering educational talks over the three-day period. Participants can choose which of the sessions they would like to attend. Many will also be followed with Q&A sessions. And best of all, everyone can enjoy the talks from the comfort of their own living room.  To receive updates on our June 18th – 20th Financial and Life Planning Summit, go to https://DisabledChildPlanning.com/June.
